Il Borro

We searched far and wide for a special place to help create a truly memorable experience for all of us. We're pretty sure you'll agree: Il Borro fits the bill. ​

Il Borro is an 1,800 acre Tuscan estate that has been converted to a Relais & Chateaux resort, spa, and winery. The property has accommodations for everyone between the main villa, a medieval village, and several farmhouses. The main villa will house our immediate family and is where we'll host our wedding reception. The medieval village or “borgo” (pictured in the foreground below) is comprised of apartments, a church, small shops and a small town square with exquisite views of the property. We've secured the entire borgo for you and know you'll enjoy its traditional Tuscan character. It's only a 5 minute walk between the villa and the borgo, but you'll want comfortable shoes for the cobblestone path.​

Although the village was constructed hundreds of years ago – with the villa passing among the families of the Medici, Pazzi, and Savoia – the entire property has been updated with modern luxuries and conveniences (e.g. TV, air-conditioning and WiFi).

The estate is conveniently located in relation to many of Italy’s great cities: Rome, Florence, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano and Arezzo.
